“I’m feeling better,” says scientist Carlos Nobre about accommodation in Belém
Carlos Nobre , one of the world's most important climate scientists, is the guest on Roda Viva this Monday (13).
For the senior researcher at the Institute of Advanced Studies (IEA) at the University of São Paulo (USP), COP30 , in Belém , needs to be the most important of all the United Nations (UN) climate conferences.
On the show, the expert answers questions about Belém's infrastructure for hosting the event . This year, the region saw a substantial increase in accommodation prices.
"I'm feeling an improvement. I'll give you a small example: I managed to book a hotel for R$800. You can see that what was happening months ago has already started to change. I feel like the numbers are getting a little better. And I hope this infrastructure issue can actually be resolved," says Carlos Nobre.
